Life with God-Adult Instruction
This 10-week class enables prospective members to make an informed decision on membership. It is also a review class for current members. Classes cover the basic teachings of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It is for all those who want to know what life with God is all about. You can join the class at any time.
Blind Center
The goal of the Blind Center is to:
- To show kindness and compassion to a group of people who often feel forgotten, isolated and alone
- Develop a connection between people who face similar challenges
- Build trust between the blind/visually impaired and the sighted community
To accomplish the above:
- St. James Lutheran Church and various groups from the other Quincy LCMS churches host a meal and a meeting for the blind/visually impaired once a month.
- Transportation to the meal and meeting is provided.
Our time together begins with a meal. The meal is followed by a brief devotion.
