The Spring Fling is a dinner, silent auction, and live auction, and is the one major yearly fundraiser for St. James Lutheran School.  It is organized by members of the PTL and helps the school fund a variety of items.  Examples of what the Spring Fling funds include: salary of the PE teacher, classroom fund for each teacher for supplies each year, technology upgrades, manipulatives for classrooms, and updates for classrooms/facilities/playground.  It occurs in March each year, as the culminating event of our Lutheran Education Week. This year was our best yet, raising $30,000 for our school!  Thank you to all who helped organize, decorate, donated items, attended, purchased auction items, and worked during the event!  What an awesome way to support our school!

It takes MANY hands to put on this event!  If you are interested in being a part of it in the future, here are some areas where help is needed.  Contact the school and let us know you're willing!

Procurement Committee (seeking out donations from local/national businesses and individuals)


Invitations (Design, have printed, addressed, and stuffed)

Office/Financial (These helpers mainly work the night of the auction, calculating totals and running items to their new owners)

Transporting items from the school to the auction site, including tables for the silent auction.
