Choir

Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. Psalms 95 1-7

The St James adult choir consists of about twenty members who enjoy singing praises to our Lord and Savior.  We meet on Wednesday at 7:00 PM for practice.  The choir generally sings at three out of four Sundays a month from September through June.

Singing in the choir is a very enjoyable experience.  It is fun to participate in the choir and to practice singing new songs and it is also a spiritual experience to worship as a member of the choir and to participate together in worship services.

If you can carry a tune and would like to join our choir, just show up for practice on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.  We would love to have you join us!

Handbells

The Handbell Choir practices on Thursday nights from 5:30-6:30. The group usually plays once a month for both services with a date agreed upon by the group. We also have a Christmas concert for The Good Samaritan Home residents early in December.  We typically take a break over the summer months.  If interested, or for more information, please contact the church office or Jeanie Rempfer (223-5682).

Special Music

Special Music can certainly enhance our worship services!  If you play an instrument or sing individually or in a group and would like to praise God by leading us during worship, we would love to add you into our services!  Simply contact the church office or Pastor to discuss your ideas!
